So I should probably be cataloging and packing but, because it’s about 115F in my apartment right now (with fans running), I elected to take a break and go back to obsessively poking my resume and cover letter for the graduate assistantship I really really really really want. Or maybe it’s reallyX4 need, in reality, but it also sounds fun, cool and applicable to my future.
The closer it gets to mid-July, the more nervous I get. I know I could find a job pretty fast when I get down there, if I need to, but I’d rather not need to.
Enough of my woes.
Yesterday I saw a… Florida, I think, plate labeled ‘CHOCOBO.’ Also, Pan’s Labryinth was far more predictable than I thought it’d be, given the hype. Gorgeous movie, of course, and tremendous acting but… it was nothing new, especially for Guillermo del Toro (I mean, Devil’s Backbone, anyone?).
I also restarted a game of FF12. It’s definitely funnier the second time through, especially finding the little events I missed (like July in Nalbina). And this time I damn well am going to beat Gilgamesh, both events. And maybe play around in the Great Crystal too, where I was too annoyed with the lack of map before to really mess with it much.
